Hakuna Matata song and Indian Ocean waves in Zanzibar
Hakuna Matata – No Worries – is the mantra of Ayubu, our driver and tour guide. He put this Swahili phrase, which was the theme song of Disney’s The Lion King, into action and made our meticulously planned African Lion Safari into the trip of a lifetime. Read our African Lion Safari journal at BonVoyageurs.com .
Highly experienced, well-educated with a university degree in wildlife management plus possessed with a contagious smile and terrific sense of humor, Ayubu managed to fulfill our wishes and our goals on a daily basis plus regale us with stories from his past. We adopted him into our family during our 10 days with him. I will never forget Africa and I will never forget Ayubu.
Here’s a taste of Ayubu’s fabulous sense of humor which I call “Ayubuisms” …
“Sleeping Policeman” ….Man-made Bumps on the road to slow vehicles
“African Massage” …. Bumpiness on dirt roads
“Natural Powder” …. Dust on road
”European Massage” … paved roads
“Dancing without Music” … bumpy road
