My husband and I return to the buffet tables several times and are thoroughly enjoying this fairy tale experience when, just as I was about to look for him, one of our favorite waiters appears with a pot of mint tea and a carrot cake cupcake. Why? … because he knows I always conclude my dinner with mint tea and because he has overheard me tell my husband that the carrot cake was my favorite dessert of the evening. Welcome to dining-under-the-stars Windstar style.

The band picks it up a notch and people began to line dance. Smiles are everywhere. Happiness is contagious. Romance is in the air … from the stars twinkling overhead to the sounds of the music and the couples dancing. The mood is set and we feel like we are on board our very own yacht.

This evening on Windstar certainly does sound like an ideal evening. The buffets of food look delicious. As does the view over the Caribbean. Wish I was there.

What a wonderful evening. Dining under the stars would be a highlight of the cruise I am sure of does it happen every night? I’ve seen the Windstar in port a few times as we have travelled and often I feel tempted to try cruising. I’d have to practise self control to face those tables ladened with stunning food!

That looks like a spectacular spread on your Windstar cruise. I’ll have some lobster tail, thank you.

It looks like a spectacular evening. I simply love when the staff on a cruise ship pay especial attention to the details. Looks like they had a wonderful crew on board the Windstar cruise and some tasty food too!
